Definitely a different type of taco in TJ. They use flour tortillas and thick cuts of steak. It is approximately 10-15 minute drive from Rio but you can stop the Tijuana Brewery on the way.

Excellent Tacos de Perorrnes. These tacos are 3 times the size of a typical corn tortilla taco. Quality Fresh Beef, Broiled over Oak wood fire

Love these tacos. Each taco is uniquely made and handcrafted, lol. The guy that makes the tacos takes his time but is very well worthwhile. Just keep in mind their picky schedule, they close at 4! Once I arrived 4:10 and there was no service anymore.

Delicious flour tortilla tacos of carne asada with (or without) cheese. The queue does fill up quickly during lunch hour and the service is very "calm" and a bit slow. Worth it as they are very good.

This place serves the best tacos 5 days a week except Tuesdays and Wednesdays only blocks from the beach. Not much parking as you may have to park blocks away. Tacos con todo are 50 pesos. One thing that I didn't like was they don't seem to be in any kind of hurry, as the line for tacos runs out into the street on most days.

Very friendly. The main cook speaks fluent English and Spanish. They have birrones tacos which use flour tortillas, cheese, birria, beans and all the fixings. Very unique and very good. I highly recommend this place. About ten minutes outside of downtown Tijuana. Very good highway to the location.
