I've returned twice already to this hidden gem in TJ. Everything is delicious and the ambiance it's so amazing and peaceful. Plus the service is great. Staff is very knowledgeable of the history of the dishes.

Skip this place and drive to original Riochia7, service is extreamly slow, food is warm, seating is uncomfortable (wood chairs with 90 degree angle????), they heat up food in microwave ????... Im dissapointed. Menu and price is the same as original but lacks the rest.

Great restaurant with cozy environment, I really enjoyed the food... specially the "Ceviche en salsa de 7 chiles", it was a great starter. I had the carbonara pasta and a pizza... both being excellent dishes.

The view of the greenery really makes this place memorable, it was our first visit, we had an Americano that was really drip-coffee, the double espresso was better tasting.
As for the food we had, enmoladas (the sauce is good, but the dish is very rich so it became monotonous without anything on the side to vary it), my chicken entomatadas had a good balance between the tomato sauce and generous stuffing, the third entree were chilaquiles, that had the same tomato sauce, but it ended up breaking down the fried corn tortillas down to a mush, so about half of the plate ended up getting tossed.

Our service was good, but one really hopes that they can tweak the plates, how about an option to reduce the portion and throwing in a bit of beans or pickled veggies to vary it.

I'll say please dont go to this place... Or you'll get in love of the coffe and food.. best place for a breakfast!! Love it
