I have been waiting for almost 7 weeks for my refund! They refuse to honor their refund policy. I canceled my surgery 2 and a half months in advance when I found out their plastic surgeon had went elsewhere. Oh and THEY weren't even the ones who told me! I had to find out via social media, and do check out that! There are hundreds of people trying to get their money back! I guess they spent the money or embezzled it, who knows! All I know is that they are refusing the refund my deposit and its beyond shady!!!

I had a revision surgery to resleeve my stomachs after 10 yr old Duodenal switch surgery. They charged me for the full price of a DS when it was just a basic VSG thus costing me well over $1000 more than it should have. Then when the plastic surgeon they had on staff left and many of us wanted surgery with him they refused to refund deposits. I did show up for my scheduled surgery through them but it was cancelled due to reasons beyond my control. They claimed that the one night I stayed there plus bloodwork and transportation came to over my $1000 deposit and refused to give me even half back. I believe Dr Illan is a good surgeon and the nurses and valets were great but the administration staff, namely Bill and Stacy are greedy scammers as they have still not refunded many people according to their own policies. Shame on them!

I researched doctors in the US and outside of the states for a year before trusting Dr. Galvez for my plastics. From Instagram and Facebook I had heard nothing but amazing things about him and the staff.

Booking was easy. You send in pictures, get a quote and you have 48 hours to reserve your spot. It’s fast but they book fast so you have to act. $1,000 deposit reserves your spot and then you pay the rest before your surgery. They also confirm your date and transportation leading up to surgery.

Dr. Galvez truly cares about his patients and will suggest changes during your pre-op that will give better results if he sees something should change. I trusted him and I’m so happy I did. He is very knowledgeable and VERY experienced. He has many weight loss clients and gives us the bodies we’ve worked hard for, not the boxy shape many people get after TT from weight loss.

The staff at the hospital and hotel are great, too. Isis made my mom and I feel at home in the hospital, and the valets Alex and Silka helped with that too. The nurses, Luz, Claudia, Josie, and Clara that I had were amazing too. They are so helpful and caring. Ana and Alma with the lymphatic massages too, you’ll never want to to go home!

In the states I would have been sent home shortly after my procedure, but not here. You stay and they care for you. They noticed a problem with my pain pump and brought me back immediately for it to be fixed. No calling and waiting on a care line.

I wanted to take a minute to tell you what an amazing facility bariatricpalMx has been for me. The doctors and staff have provided me not only once but twice with the best professional care. I have been 5 times to this facility and have two more schedule trips very soon along with a second plastics surgery planned for me.

With that being said I would love to share with you my personal experience with these amazing doctors and staff that make your experience amazing. I had complications with a previous surgery from a different doctor that needed immediate attention.
Dr. Illian was the one I chose to do just that. What an amazing surgeon!! His bedside manner and demeanor is amazing. He treated me with such compassion and care. He stayed in my room and took all the tine I needed to answer all of my questions and concerns. As I headed into a second bariatric surgery I had a lot of fear but he calmed my fear and was right there to support me with whatever decision I made. From the moment I woke up from surgery I had no more pain and no more issues.
The staff was amazing they were so friendly, loving, and caring they treated you like family. With anything that I needed they were right there help. I needed for nothing or wanted for nothing nor did my companion. I was completely comfortable and taking care of. I might add the hospital was beautiful, so clean, inviting, and state of the art. I've been Amazed by the care that has been given on more than just that occasion I Not only was a patient with them but I have been multiple times as a caregiver. Every single time I've been there it has been an amazing experience. They have treated my family and friends with so much respect and so much care that I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

The care that I received I no doubt made the decision to have my plastic surgery with the same facility. The plastic surgery team do not disappoint. Dr. Galvez is a sculptor. Never would I have thought i would have a body like i do. I have been completely amazed and satisfied with my results. I look and I feel amazing. his bedside manor, profesional attitude, and compassion speaks volums the moment you meet him. They had nothing but safety in mind as I went for my plastic surgery with the intent to have more than one procedure. Due to my Medical evaluation by the medical team only one procedure was able to be done. My respect for this company grew 10-fold because they had only my safety in mind. My results have been life changing, and more then even thought possible.
Even now at home in the states they are such a support system if I have a question they are a phone call or an e-mail away and contact you immediately both doctors have on many occasions stated that they will be available to talk to my doctor's if needed here in the states. I am so thankful and blessed to have found this facility and these Amazing doctors who changed my life forever.. I am forever greatful and forever thankful for what they have done for friends, family, and myself.

Stacy the head of the office staff is corrupt and manipulative, she keeps people’s money when they are due a refund for procedures the patient didn’t get, she keeps people’s deposit held hostage and is extremely rude. She made me feel completely unsafe and uncomfortable my whole stay! The surgeon was amazing but he is no longer there thankfully as he also saw patients were unsafe at that facility. My advice is Research your surgeon and the facility, talk to past patients and advocate for your healthcare.

I'd give them no stars of possible. I had to cancel my surgery due to health concerns after finding a lump in my breasts. Per their cancellation policy if you request a refund 15 days prior to surgery you will get a refund. I requested my refund on Feb 22nd, 4 months before my scheduled date and they are refusing to pay me back. I'm so happy I found out what a shady business they run before I put my life in their hands. This company has no integrity.

Patients beware! The office manager/dietitian at the facility is extremely rude and keeps people’s money even when they follow the contract. She is very unprofessional and greedy. Hundreds of women are waiting on thousands and thousands of dollars owed to them from the facility from months ago for deposits owed to them, procedures they didn’t get or procedures she overcharged for. Stacy made me feel very unsafe during my stay. My surgeon and his team were amazing and thankfully they are no longer affiliated with this facility and do surgery in a bigger and in my opinion better hospital. My advice is research the facility you are looking at, speak to prior patients and only pay via protected payment methods such as credit card.
