STAY AWAY!!! All this clinic cares about is taking your money away. If you have complications, Dr. Salazar will take it lightly and make fun of you. I had surgery last month and I am still dealing with the complications 6 weeks later. First I tried to reach out to the doctor/clinic when I was still in Tijuana and they pretended to help; but actually made the situation worst. They had used a LATEX catheter the day of surgery and I AM ALLERGIC which I, not only wrote on the paperwork myself; but also mentioned it to the doctor and staff MULTIPLE times starting with the very first consultation appointment. I couldn’t pee after the surgery and Natividad Salazar came to my hotel room with a nurse and charged me 750 pesos plus 20 dollars to forcefully and very painfully put another LATEX catheter in my urethra since my bladder was extremely full and I couldn’t walk. I screamed and cried from the pain. The catheter was removed the next day and I still couldn’t pee. I had to do research on my own while in severe pain and TELL HIM that I figured out they had used a LATEX catheter because I still had, the used catheter. He had me come in to the clinic only to have his nurses almost touch me with LATEX gloves AGAIN because these people don’t pay attention. Anyway, he showed up minutes later after they had injected me with a mixture of narcotics for the pain and I nearly passed out but the doctor made fun of me and told me that I had to will power and that I was too spoiled. That I was being dramatic and it wasn’t that bad. The next day, I ended up heading back to the states to get ACTUAL medical help. I was still so swollen and sore that the ER doctors here, REAL doctors had such a hard time trying to place another catheter and were in extremely fear of urethra damage since the so called doctor had forcefully placed one, two days before.
Rewinding to the day of surgery, Salazar pretended to be a surgeon until the day of the surgery when I was already naked, with an IV in my arm and as the anesthesiologist was injecting anesthesia, they finally told me that he wasn’t going to operate because the other “doctor” in the room was the actual surgeon contracted to perform the lipo 360 with BBL. I recall seeing the “other doctor” wearing some dirty scrubs as I was dosing off. All the sudden I woke up from the pain and I was shot up with more anesthesia by a female while I tried to speak. I ended up waking up in my room later on, couldn’t move my legs and I had a tremendous migraine. I let the nurse on shift know; but she didn’t care and she wouldn’t help me move. She was a total a—hole. I was also left to sleep soaked in bloody sheets, bandages and bed pads and was denied anything to eat or drink. She kept putting morphine in my IV to shut me up and I was extremely swollen to the point where I couldn’t open my eyes. The next day I didn’t get any help showering and they forced me to get dressed while in extreme pain, which cause me to pass out. Afterwards they put me in a girdle that was way too small for me but the doctor and nurses kept insisting that it was my size.
My painful experience goes on, however to keep it short, I have been requesting my ENTIRE medical record for weeks now to receive the help that I need and for the true doctors to be able to have the whole background story in medical terms to have a clear view. However, the director (S) refuses to provide me with paperwork other than 4 pieces of paper that do not make him look guilty of any of the damages caused. I haven’t been able to walk for weeks, work, have been in extreme pain, etc but NONE AT TERRANOVA CARES. I guess that my first red flag should have been the nurse who did not wear gloves to take my blood sample a week before the surgery. DO NOT GO HERE PLEASE!!!!
