A hidden gem.
Walked in here just to check it out. Bit strange feeling walking through the heavy curtains. Not sure if someone was going to jump at us on the other side.. Haha But what a surprise!
Once inside the restaurant is nicely decorated and really clean. The ambient is also very chill. Nice friendly staff as well. And the most important.. The food was really good! Both my colleague and I really enjoyed what we ordered. Definitely going back.

I'm giving it 2 stars as the flavors seemed ok. We ordered from this restaurant because it is in eye shot of our hotel and we were looking forward to a hot meal and a movie my last night in Tampico. My girlfriend lives in Madero and I in San Antonio. I'm not sure if they miss understood where our hotel is, my girl is a native spanish speaker. Or maybe the driver decided to drop our food off last on the way back. That is what I assume happened as the 30 minute quote turned into over an hour. I don't feel he deserved the 200 pesos tip I gave on the 600 peso order. Because I returned to my room and opened the bag to luke warm entrees and cold appetizers. I would of walked over to pick it up as I have walked to the Degas coffee shop in their plaza daily for the last 2 weeks and the Applebee's on a couple occasions. A 5 minute stroll from our room to the coffee shop. We choose them because they were that close and we wanted hot food without leaving our room for our last night together. I was very disappointed.

Beautiful, cozy, romantic atmosphere. Closest thing to real sushi I've had in Mexico. Very good and GREAT service ????

Best Japanese in town. You really get what you order. Great tuna and salmon sashimi. Ingredients are top as well as service and location!!!
