It's okay for the price you pay. In my case, I stayed at a private room.

Location wise is fabulous the Alameda is about at a 10 min walk.

Rooms are a bit small but quite comfy, there's no AC but there is a ceiling fan, everything is quite clean and you get fresh clean towels as well as shampoo and body wash.

Now, it can be quite noisy since there is a glass door on each room and they're not soundproof. Expecto to hear lots of traffic noises and a train throughout the day.

I would have given it an extra star but there was a huge problem with the other guests. When you arrive, you're told that after 11 pm, all common areas should remain in silence. You can be there reading or listening music with your headphones on or working on your laptop but that's it. Well, there were two people who stayed at the common area below my room, watching movies and series at a high volume, they were laughing and talking up to 4 am. I had to stay awake cause my gf is in Europe right now, so we were talking over the phone at that time, otherwise, I couldn't have slept.

Of course, I could have told them to keep the volume down, but you don't know who these people are and you don't know if they would key your car or simply, you'd end up arguing. This shouldn't happen since we all knew the rules, but there was no one from staff to talk to.

Please, stress enough the rules with all guests.

I stayed in the loft for one week. What a beautifully decorated place with great wifi (For the loft only) good shower and nice matras and pillows. Very comfortable place to relax.

If......it were not so dirty. There were so many hairs in my bathroom, under the stairs, around the bed, and behind the movable aircon unit from previous visitors I could easily make a wig.

You do not get clean towels, not even when you drop them on the floor, they just hang them back including the long black hairs......gross.

Food left overs from the previous people in the sink.

Dust everywhere.

The dorm bathroom and sink is right in front of your door and you can hear everything and I mean EVERYTHING!!

Your loft bathroom is next to the restaurant, the roof is open so you use your bathroom in the restaurant, at night you live in a place where you hear pots and pans, guest eating, music. Lucky they closed early.

One tip: If you put a microwave, please put plates and cups that you can use in a microwave. Metal plates and cups cannot be used in a microwave. I borrowed some kitchenware from the general kitchen.

Great place, good parking, lots of potential, but please clean!!

My son rented a private room, same story, although his wifi was a bit dodgy, and he also had a room that could do with some extra cleaning and eye for details.

Great hostel and quite a surprise!! Friendly service, booked a private room with bathroom. Super hot shower and nice soaps. I love the details!! Comfortable seating areas throughout, including hammocks. WIFI and Netflix too. The pizza in their restaurant was especially delicious. Central location - a few blocks away from downtown QRO - highly recommended. We'll be back!!

Great clean and new place. I stayed in the dorms and they have large lockers and comfortable beds. The only downside is the limited bathrooms, but they are clean and new. The common area could be augmented but there was a comfortable lounge chair. I stayed during the week so it was very quiet. Good place to come if you're coming with a group.

Very secure, convenient location, excellent lockers, excellent facilities, very comfortable bed, great sheets, but room was a bit hot needing more outside air flow. Only two bathrooms with showers u0026 toilets together for the dorms, so if it was super busy this would pose problems. Still, I think it's a very good option compared to everything else I could find in a small time frame.

The staff at Séptimo Arte answered all my questions, accommodated my requests, and chatted with me too. The hostel is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood a short walk from historical center. The owners created the hostel less than two years ago, so it has modern appliances and furnishings. The cleaning staff also keep the place looking great. There were just a few things the owners need to update to get it to 5 stars: larger water heater - the shower went cold. The lighting in dorm 7 is a little harsh, so a lamp at the entrance would save other folks in the dorm from waking up when you come in. The bathroom locks didn't work, so that made for some awkward moments. Speaking of bathroom, the sink is humorously small. But despite the little discomforts, I think the hostel offers really great value for a reasonable price.
