If you're looking for a charming boutique hotel in Queretaro, look no further than Hotel San Xavier. The pool was refreshing and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Queretaro.

Great hotel in the city center, couldn't have been better. The hotel is really nicely decorated, the rooms are very cozy, bed is comfortable and the breakfast was really nice.had a great time in the city and the hotel was a big plus to my day. Very affordable but very well maintained and service was great. From the front desk, to the people at the restaurant and the people of the valet parking. Memorable stay!

Been here one night. Breakfast is amazing.
I wish they had been clearer about the parking situation when I booked. Just said they had parking, found out there is street parking or there is a valet. There is no local parking lot. This isn't too bad because they can do something and once you're in the city you will see why it's probably impossible for them to have a parking lot.
But breakfast! Wow! Not a typical buffet or continental breakfast. Actually a sit-down restaurant with a menu. Fresh fruits and fresh squeezed orange juice. Amazing!

I spent two nights here. Excellent facility, location, and staff. Booked on Booking.com for just about $55 US a night. The building and room were spotless. Bed to dream on. Very good A/C and hot water. Pool temp. very nice, not cold. Didn't use spa or Jacuzzi, but they are in a nice spot on the roof (3rd floor) and have lounge chairs. With an hour's notice, you can get a massage or spa treatment. Breakfast was very nice, the menu is not very extensive but the food is high quality.

Walking distance to about 10 Catholic churches with baroque architecture. Walking distance to the Plaza de Arte and the Jardín de Zenea, where you can dance in the square until at least 1:00 almost every night, which I did with locals, they were very friendly. Close enough to tour town but very quiet at night. I walked around extensively at night alone and felt very safe.

I hardly ever write reviews, but I am doing this one because of the service. I asked for the bus route to take to get to the Cimaterio National Park just out of town. They looked it up for me. The bus stop was 2 blocks away. Two minutes after I got there the desk clerk comes running up to me and said that they had made a mistake and the bus I needed didn't stop nearby. He helped me with a cab. Now THAT is service. BTW, the birdwatching in Cimaterio is pretty good. Also the walking and mountain biking with free admission.

All in all San Xavier is an A+. English spoken fairly well. This is not the Ritz Carlton. Get a room on the 1st. floor. No elevator. It is a boutique hotel in a colonial building. Try it. Very affordable and a superior place for the price.

We spent a weekend here in Querétaro and went to stay in this hotel for 2 nights.u003cbr/u003eThe days before the trip were a little difficult so I had to cancel to hotel, but we then decided to go anyway.u003cbr/u003eI called and asked if we could "cancel" the cancellation, which was no problem so we got the room for the same price.u003cbr/u003eThe breakfast is included, the room offers A/C (which is not generally common here in Mexico) and free wifi.u003cbr/u003eSan Xavier is a small hotel, but they did get the most out of the space, putting a nice pool in the backyard and a jacuzzi on the rooftop. u003cbr/u003eDefinitely recommended, would stay here again any day.
