This place was one of the worst experiences of my life! We booked 8 nights, starting on a Friday. I arrived at 11:00 pm Friday night. We were given rooms facing a most obnoxious club. We had purposely selected High Park to avoid the noise of downtown. The music and yelling from the night club was nonstop until 2:30 am Friday and Saturday nights. We pleaded with staff to move us to another room but they simple said they could not. The club was literally across a small parking lot from the bedroom and we were on the second floor, even with the club.
Needless to say we got very little sleep. I cannot stress enough how loud the music was.
In addition, the kitchenette and table had the most god awful smell! Only one young lady tried be helpful. Otherwise the staff were oblivious. One boy at reception didn't even know how to call a taxi for us. He stated that they didn't come to their location. What!?
The 5 star reviews are obviously people who did not stay overnight as guests or on a weekend. Everyone should know not to stay at this place. It's a complete mistake.

I booked this place to stay for 8 nights with the idea that being away from the downtown would be quiet and that the hotel would be a good place to rest, but what a disappointment the hotel/apartments is just behind the Puerta Negra bar and it is extremely loud. Apartment 101 is on the back of the hotel and the Windows of the bedrooms face the bar.
When I said loud it's very very loud, this hotel is not in any way a place to stay, because you can simply sleep and the staff cannot accommodate you anywhere else. It doesn't matter that it is spacious, it is not worth it. It is 0134 in the morning and the music is soo loud. This place has not noise insulation what so ever, the apartments can only be use as office space, not as a hotel, or a place to live because there is not way anyone could ever get a good night of sleep here.
Total disappointment.
