The only Italian restaurant in Querétaro with food that is good without qualification and authentic. I tried five others in centro historico in past three months, ranging from worst ever to bad to below average. I had the mushroom risotto, which was absolutely perfect. One of the best risottos I had in or out of Italy. The lasagna bolognese was good.
The service was excellent. I can't fault any aspect of the service.
The atmosphere was very good. It's a small place, two rooms. There is air conditioning. I was seated in the front room at a window table without a reservation.
As one reviewer noted, I did see mosquitoes, killed one, saw one dead one. Also a couple flies, and a couple extremely tiny gnats. They keep the front door open, where there's a valet stand at the courtyard door. If they protected that entrance, it would probably solve 90% of the bug problem.
