Not recommended. The decor is lovely. Not impressed with the food, especially with $$$ prices on the high-end for the centro historico. I ordered the cream of mushroom soup: it was inedible from way too much salt, and I like more salt than most. It wasn't very creamy and the mushroom flavor was raw and strong. They were kind to take it off my bill without asking, but it still made a poor impression. Bread for the table served cold.
The lasagne Bolognese al forno had a good flavor, but it was much closer to a standard lasagne romana, not authentic lasagne Bolognese. Good but disappointing if you're looking for the real thing. I had worse the night before in another place nearby. Good Italian food is very hard to find here, other than pizzeria fare. Extensive wine list.
The service was fussy and uncomfortable I really don't like being given an English language menu or being spoken to in English, assuming I can't communicate in Spanish. My waiter (either an owner or the manager) did it with another American party, with the guy starting out speaking in Spanish. Take your cues from your guests.
The food overall very well could be better than the two dishes I sampled. But the service alone would dissuade me from going back. Although expensive for Querétaro, the prices are 20% of what you would pay for upscale Italian food in San Francisco or NY or anywhere in Italy.
