This is a must if you want a tour around el centro. We felt like we hit all the high points and learned a lot and got some great food recs! Very easy to schedule with what’s app and wish we had time to do more of their tours!

Bike Tour Querétaro and VIP Car tours - 5+ star VIP tours !!!

While in Querétaro, MX for vacation in Feb 2017, my husband and I were trying to find some help from local tourist bureaus in English, to no avail, when a young and enterprising Uriel Peña of Bike Tour Querétaro came to our rescue. While we did not do his City Bike Tour as we had already walked all over the Centro Historico the previous week, we did decide to do 2 of his VIP car tours. Uriel Pena, the owner of his now going on 4 year old company, speaks impeccable English, Spanish, and Chinese and Japanese! We did the excellent Peña de Bernal, Freixenet and Tequisquiapan VIP tour one day, and the superb Tolantongo, Hidalgo Hot Springs VIP tour another day! Highly recommended and affordable private tours with an amazing and enthusiastic tour guide!

We returned to Querétaro Feb 2018, and arranged to do 4 different VIP day tours with BTQ and Uriel! A fun visit to the Rancho San Josemaría one day, then another day, a drive to the gorgeous City of Guanajuato with a visit to the Mummy Museum followed by a stop, walk and supper in San Miguel with Uriel and his business and now life partner Ana. Another day we went for a VIP tour to the amazing Teotihuacan pyramids, and lastly, to the local Cervecería Hércules for fun beer sampling and excellent pizza! Detailed reviews for each of these tours, with photos, have been left by me on Trip Advisor.

We had fun and informative VIP tours with Uriel and BTQ. He is reliable, courteous, and attentive to detail. He also offers an excellent selection of restaurants to eat at during his day tours, so you can choose based on your taste and budget. Note that it is customary to pay for your tour guide's meal and drinks during your day tours. Prices are always very affordable, and in fact, about half the price for a better meal than we would pay for at home! And, don't forget to tip!!!

We plan on a return visit to Querétaro in the near future and we will do other VIP tours with BTQ and Uriel Peña! This young man comes very highly recommended, as he knows his history and his way around the state of Querétaro, and beyond, including a lot of off the beaten path locations. As we speak only English and French, and not Spanish (yet!), it was wonderful to find Uriel. In addition to his courteous attention, and his interesting and informative tours, Uriel takes several photos for you of each place you visit, which is a plus for me, because while I take a lot of photos, I am rarely in them, and rarely did we ever have photos of my husband and I together! Now, because of Uriel, we have many photos of the two of us in many wonderful places!

We cannot recommend Uriel and his VIP tours highly enough! Recently, it was our pleasure to get to know Ana better, and she is an excellent addition to the BTQ crew. Uriel is professional and responds via What’s App within a few hours. The tours are informative, exciting, and created to provide a true glimpse into authentic Mexican culture. Uriel ‘s attention to detail provides a safe trip that takes the worry and planning off the guest so their experience can be fun and carefree. Try BTQ for your next outing; you won’t be disappointed!!!

Wonderful personalized service and really safe. I enjoyed so much visiting with Ana and Uriel. They are wonderful guides and lead us to amazing places I would never have found by myself. They also know a lot about the region and the history of Queretaro State.

I met Uriel of Bike Tour Queretaro in 2017 during my first trip to central Mexico. Uriel was young, friendly and very enthusiastic! There are many companies offering tour options and I'll admit initially I was skeptical but from the 1st 10 minutes on the tour I knew I made the right choice! The tours are private and the service is very personalized, and well worth the prices. In addition, I learned so much about Mexican history and culture. I fell in love with Mexico and its beauty. I have been on many Bike Tour Queretaro tours since then and every tour is different, interesting and fun! I highly recommend their tours!!
