This mercado is 2 floors and a great spot to buy your souvenirs They have so many handcrafted items and prices are a lot better than those stores in the center.
There is always a room for negotiation

The inside part is pretty lame, overpriced textiles that you should really make the effort to buy from the source - which is the markets in the indigenous villages surrounding the city. Zinacantan, Chamula, etc... But the outdoor restaurant area has a bunch of remarkably cheap and authentic local dishes - pick an establishment that looks busy, and enjoy.

Excellent place to find crafts from Chiapas... I recommend the second floor you will find better prices and more Amber and crafts than the first floor the restroom are... Well let me put it like this you don't want to go in there ;)... There is no parking lot so you will need to find a spot in the street....

It's a very delicious place ..there you can fine any regional candies ..I love there and prices are very accessible.. just is created to enjoy the sweet of life in San Cristobal de las casas. Just enjoy !!!!

At this market you can find a lot of different kind of handcraft, it can be something to decor or wear like blouses, dresses and hats. Also you can find some jewelry made of ámbar. If you're looking for something to eat you can find traditional sweets and lunches. It's a place you must go if you're visiting San Cristóbal de las Casas.
