Very friendly, cute place. It’s a tiny bit out of town and this very quiet. It seems to attract a slightly older crowed.

Their rooftop terrace is beautiful and they have a fireplace that you can use if you manage to bring/ find your own wood.

The rooms were very cold at night (mid November).

Chill artsy vibe hostel with friendly guests and management. Clean bathrooms and rooms. My husband and I enjoyed our stay here and played with Chucho the dog. They provide breakfast which is a nice touch. The best price I've seen in San Cris for a private room + breakfast included.

I had a wonderful time staying at Casa 74! It’s a really new hostel, everything was always very clean, they have two(!) kitchens and lots of bathrooms - all with hot water! ;) the two hosts (they traveled a ton themselves and understand just what travelers need) are really really nice, friendly and funny and make you feel extremely comfortable and welcome. They really take the time to get to know their guests and make everybody feel included, they also have great tips for what to do in San Cristobal and the area. I would definitely love to come back - despite the great atmosphere and people, the price is unbeatable and it even includes breakfast (eggs, fruit, bread and coffee). Gracias!!:)

I had a wonderful time at Casa 74! Rarely have I seen a hostel where the staff is that welcoming and that close to their guests! They really became like friends to us! The place is really nice, the rooms are super cozy and the location is great (less than 10 min walk to the Zocalo). Special shoutout to Eduardo (the owner) and to Gil u0026 Cynthia for their helpfulness and kindness. I will definitely come back!

Excellent WiFi, friendly staff, comfortable beds, very clean, and in an excellent location near the center. Great price too.
