Truly, a wonderful gallery filled with eclectic pieces. We felt it's a great way to tap into San Cristobal's art scene. There were prints, unique photos, and a taste of the surreal. My favorites were of multi-eyed grotesque monsters doing every day activities (ie. snapping a selfie or brushing their teeth). The missus loved the many pieces reminiscent of the street art seen throughout San Cristobal. We spent 30 minutes browsing and felt there was so much more to take in!

There's no reason at all for you to not go and check this place. Lots of different art styles and pieces, with lots of colour and in different art representations. Entrance is free, so... it's absolutely worth it.

This gallery was quite impressive. There was such a differing array of art styles and mediums to feast your eyes on. There are paintings, jewelry, masks, carvings, pottery, textiles, stones, and more. I found an amazing piece of amber that was carved to be a fetus in the womb. As a midwife, it seemed serendipitous to find this carving here. I bought it and now it lives in my midwifery office. The prices are appropriate for the skill, time, and energy put into the art pieces displayed here. This is a must stop if you're in San Cristobal de las Casas

One of the best and unique collections of handmade Mexican art anywhere. I roamed this store for hours--there's so much to see. From traditional folk art to modern, edgy paintings by local Chiapas talent, there is something for everyone at every price point. Oh, and don't miss the handmade jewelry and incredible collection of piedras preciosas (precious stones) in the back. GORGEOUS!

I was impressed with the breadth of styles on display. One particular local artist had excellent, disconcerting pieces, and the owner took us to see him work. It's great to see the artistic community here is so tight-knit.

Beautiful collection of different styles of art from the Chiapas region. I was disappointed I couldn't find any Amber jewellery in San Cristóbal, until I visited Arteria Chiapas Gallery and found a beautiful pair, and a couple of other things ????
