If you are a tourist that likes garage sales, yard sales or fleamarket’s this is the place for you in Puerto Vallarta. This happens every Sunday located in the Las Mojoneras district which is East of the airport. We arrived at 10:30am and it was in full swing already. Some vendors were packing up to leave mid afternoon.
Easily accessible by Uber, taxi and bus. Simply Google map it out and you can get there.
This is a huge market, spanning blocks and blocks with booths running all ways on both sides of the streets. We spent 4-5 hours here and still didn’t see it all.
Many vendors with clothing, toys, tools, food, artisans and crafts, health products, and many vendors with piles of clothes and junk to search through. A true treasure hunters paradise.
Prices were reasonable and most vendors were willing to negotiate. We bought a basket full of fresh vegetables and it was 25 pesos total!
We felt safe at all times. Not a lot of English spoken here as it is off the beaten tourist path. Lots of sunshine and plenty of shade as well as some of the streets are fully covered by vendors booths and sunshades.
Enjoy!
