Public Plaza San Esteban

On the outskirts of PV. It’s a plaza with everything you need from the little stores. Groceries hardware tools, a meat shop and liquor stores. Also it feels safe and everyone is respectful of each other. There are no tourists here (yet). If you want a new true Mexican experience, visit San Esteban. There is good hiking trails and waterfalls not too far away. Also every Saturday there is a great market in the plaza.

The wife and I like to explore some of Colonialas. Around Vallarta we happened to stop in close to the end of small market day. There was a fair selection of a lot of items, which is not bad for living in such out of the way place. Normally I would have expected a Grandmother or 2 with Grandchildren.
