Lovely promenade with a lot to see! Nice to stroll along in the morning before the heat sets in or in the evening when the restaurants and bars really come to life. There are several statues and sculptures along the walkway-- really cool to see but if we had more time I would have loved to join a tour to learn more about them.

Always a pleasure to visit this location. Many shops and vendors to choose from. Love seeing the street acts and talking with the locals. Hotel Rosita is a very nice location right next to the beach and at the start of the Malecon walkway. Definitely recommend!

A large and wide paved embankment, where it is very comfortable and interesting to walk, both in the morning, when it is almost empty, and in the evening, when it is filled with hundreds of people, families, locals and visitors, people from different parts of the world meet here. There are many artisan shops for tequila, raicilla, folk-art and leather goods. Street-food, restaurants, people watching and vendors galore. Bring a hat and sunscreen during the day. There are also statues and street-performers with authentic indigenous ritual performances. Very friendly, laid back and safe area. Good for both socializing and for family.

What a great place to visit, walk a long boardwalk as you sample the taste and art of Puerto Vallarta. Beautiful statues, music, art, vendors and just a beautiful place to watch the sunset. Plan to spend the evening, shopping, dancing and eating. Also, check out Zhen Beach, with all the created rock statues, the beach is covered in these human created rock figures. What a great place to visit.

One of my favorite places in the world. A good mix of tourists and locals. Many restaurants available and many are not tourist traps though there are those too. Love the art and the food carts along the way.

Beautiful place for walking alone, friends or with family. There is a lot of places to buy handicraft, clothes, food and much more. There is a lot of parking spaces and taxis available all around. Very touristic and nic place. Highly recommended ???? ????.

Spend time to stroll the Malecon and take in all the sights (and smells) of this vibrant bay front promenade. There are many artisan shops for tequila, raicilla, folk-art and leather goods. Street-food, restaurants, people watching and vendors galore. We went both after dinner and again, during the afternoon for lunch. Bring a hat and sunscreen during the day. There are also statues and street-performers with authentic indigenous ritual performances. Very friendly, laid back and safe area. Good for both socializing and for family.
