Felipe makes everything fresh right there in front of you. He is a great cook and a passionate fisherman. He told us he had an accident back in 2015 during fishing that left him with problems with his vision. He went through a lot of hardship during his life but has managed to always smile and keep his positive energy. Strongly recommend this place. Fresh fish. Ask for some of his home made salsas! They’re incredible

Get to Felipe’s early to enjoy the day’s catch. Ask him to make whatever he wants and he will delight for days to come. Felipe’s charisma and joy for life reminds you to slow down all while trying not to finish the ceviche as fast as possible. Learn his story before you leave.

Felipe’s place is the authentic PV ceviche place we’ve been looking for!! His fish was fresh, delicious and perfectly spiced (you add your own chilies ???? I don’t mean it’s spicy). He used to be a fisherman but now has set his sights on feeding the people. Lucky us!! It’s just a spare simple (and clean) place with a counter and stools. His personality is decoration enough. This will be a frequent spot for us when we are in PV.

If you want fresh authentic Mexican seafoods go here! It is absolutely fire????????????! Felipe is very friendly and fun to talk to. He even made me some of his extra special sauce for me to pick up the next day.

Lunch at Felipe's cevicheria was the highlight of our holiday. We had shrimp and fish ceviche, both were extraordinarily delicious and then the aguachile verde was amazing, the best I have ever had!

We also had a great time chatting with Felipe, his family and friends. As soon as you arrive you enjoy the warm and welcoming atmosphere. My parents fall in love with Felipes habanero salsa :)
I can't recommend it enough. Don't miss the best cevicheria in Puerto Vallarta!

Even among the huge bounty of great restaurants in Puerto Vallarta, you don't find hidden gems better than Felipe's Cevicheria.

Felipe takes a rustic, fresh approach to ceviche as he masterfully makes it infront of you, showcasing the day's freshest catch. This man knows his fish, as his humble beginnings as an award winning fisherman will attest to!

Truly seafood does not get better, or more flavorful than the lovely meals that Felipe will put together for you.

This place is not on the Malecón where most tourists are. It's quite small and you wouldn't think much of it, but the ceviche is absolutely delicious! You have to be patient because the owner works by himself and he makes the ceviche to order. We had the tuna ceviche, marlin ceviche and dorado ceviche tostadas. I was full and asked for another tuna tostada, and I'm pretty short and skinny and don't eat a lot, but wow it was so DE-LI-CIOUS I had to have another one.
