Very tasty food and a beautiful courtyard atmosphere. Priced more for tourists so this was one of our more expensive meals considering local prices elsewhere, but I think the food is worth it. The duck carnitas were some of the best duck I've ever had, so tender. We were sharing so they suggested it would be easier to each shredded. The chile en nogada was also delicious, that nut sauce especially. Cocktails were tasty too.

Delicious variations of traditional mexican cuisine in a lovely, quaint garden-like atmosphere.. . We started with Hibiscus Mezcal Margarita and Fruit Margarita which were super tasty. For an appetizer we had the shrimp with peanut mole. The peanut mole had a nice depth without overwhelming peanut flavor or being too spicy. For entrees we had the Duck Carnitas with mixed veg.. pretty sure the potatoes were cooked in the duck fat as they were some of the best potatoes I've tasted in a long time. The duck was tender and paired with a cherry demi also very tasty. The stuffed poblano was good, but came with a crema that was a bit too sweet and served room temperature which was unexpected.. It probably said that on the menu but I failed to read.. my mistake.. For dessert we had the flan and tres leches cake... which was the best tres leches cake I've ever had. The flan was also delicious. The service Regina provided was excellent. She was knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and prompt without being obtrusive. The owner, however, was unwelcoming and pretty rude when greeting us and showing us to our table. I understand it's difficult to leave personal and other problems behind you while at work, but reprimanding an employee in front of customers is bad form as taught in business mgmt101. If you have a problem with your service staff you address it after their shift is over. If it needs immediate attention, do it out of the view of your guests. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to PV.

Lovely, intimate restaurant with mind-blowing food. We ate the leg of pork and the barbacoa (beef) which were both superb. We wrapped them in the handmade corn tortillas which were definitely the best I've ever had! The axule cocktail was sweet and perfect to sip on. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for couples and big groups. Oh, and the size of portions was perfect!

Beautiful comfy Mexican vibes! These colorful and artsy traditional folk art vibes made me immediately feel comfortable. Friendly and fast service. Only drawback is the limited plantbased even vegetarian options. They kindly suggested me vegan enchiladas and they were delicious. Especially the mole was fantastic. Definitely worth another visit. Thank you!

Regina is the best! She made us feel welcome the second we stepped into this charming restaurant!!! This was our first time here and we had trouble deciding on which delectable entrees to choose. Regina helped us choose the perfect combos without leaving us with too much food. We recommend the Lamb Barria and the Shrimp Peanut Mole! Do not miss the flan or tres leches!!

Lovely restaurant with cute decor. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The dishes were all delicious, especially the duck tostadas and duck carnitas. They are also famous for the cricket tacos. Be sure to also try the raicilla!

The best restaurant in the area! I tried food at almost every restaurant in Zona Romântica and El Arrayán had the most authentic and delicious food. It was obvious that they stayed true to older recipes and care about the quality of the food. The owner and servers were so kind and ensured our whole experience was great. I wish I stopped here sooner in the trip so I could’ve enjoyed it more than once.
