Our vacation was 2.5 weeks, THIS was one of the top three things we did. So worth while. We did a chocolate bean to bar workshop and loved every minute of it. Juan was our host, what an amazing human, funny, knowledgeable and super patient (we have a busy 5 year old). Everything is cared for from sales area, store front, washrooms and crafted chocolates. So many chocolate products. Even Keto friendly chocolates! They accept visa and debit.

Awesome job and look forward to coming back to the shop when we come back! I hope Juan is still working when we come back, really really good host!

Thank you again!

This was a fun way to spend a few hours learning about chocolate. We roasted cocoa beans, hulled them, ground them, then made tea, chocolate drinks and our own souvenir chocolates with our own unique toppings. Fernanda was full of information and we enjoyed just chatting with her. The time went by fast and we had a lovely experience. This is worth going to ????

We loved our experience at ChocoMuseo! We chose to do the mini workshop because we have a 6 and 7 year old and they is no way they could do longer.
We made chocolate and learned a lot bout how chocolate is made.
Our girls said it was the best day and it definitely was.

Was attempting to do a diy food tour on a Monday in PV (I wouldn’t suggest doing so at 11-3-nothing is open) and decided after not finding the tacos I craved, to pop into this place. The museum is super small but very informative. The owners were so friendly and showed passion for their craft. We tried the candied cocoa beans, orange dark chocolate and cardamom white chocolate. The white choc is a dream. So smooth with the brightness of the cardamom. I absolutely will return when I decide to come back to PV.

We did the Bean to Bar (2 hour) tour here, and it was really interesting.

They let you choose if you want your chocolate bar to be dark or milk. They have some toppings/mix-ins to choose from, but the selection could have been a little bigger in my opinion. Then you choose a mold to make your chocolates.

At first, I thought the whole thing was going to be really anticlimactic because they just had us make our bars and weren't giving us any info or anything. It was kind of awkward, but then when we finished that part, the real tour started.

It was just my wife and I that ended up signing up for that time, so that was cool. After we make are bars at the beginning, they go in the fridge to chill. Then the teacher started off with the process of making chocolate from the bean right in front of us. He had tons of info to share with us about the history of chocolate, which was all very interesting to learn. He involved us in the process and we got to try a couple of things from different recipes along the way.

We learned cool stuff, and had a good time. They give you a 10% discount on whatever you want to buy in the shop downstairs, and they have some cool stuff with fair prices. We would recommend doing this activity.

This is a gem of a place. Chocolate is divine but even more the history and information and sampling and yes even making chocolate was an incredible experience. A must see for anybody in Puerto Vallarta

Did a mole poblano workshop with Elias and it was great! It was a small group and we went to the market to purchase our ingredients and then worked as a little team to make the complicated dish. Was very enjoyable and a good way to escape the heat for the better part of the day. Try the chocolate and orange tequila in the store- very good and cheap.
