I've stayed there twice so far, for 4 or 5 nights at a time and it has a nice fun yet family feel to it. The staff and volunteers do a great job of taking care of the guests. Daily activities are offered, making use of WhatsApp to keep everyone up to date. The location is just a few blocks from the beach and boardwalk. Plenty of food options close by and even more places to try just a little further South or North.

On the weekends, they have an open bar on the rooftop. And the nearby nightlife does not disappoint. If you're looking for a hostel, Kraken is one of the best ones in the area!

Always bustling. Adventures to participate in daily. Free breakfast (continental). Free coffee. Free 1x beer upon check in. Bar on roof 4x/week. Close to malicon and romantic zone. Right on bus line. Have stayed several times. Can be noisy, if that bothers you and you want quiet, go to Oasis.

The best thing about the hostel is the stuff and volunteers that are there.
They are friendly and welcoming and always help when needed.
The location is good, close to the beach and many cantral places like restaurants, bars and more..
The rooms are a bit small, there are no hot water in the showers but besides that I enjoyed my stay there.

AC is only turned on from 10pm to 8am, even in unbearable heat. Showers and toilets are outside of the room, and there are multiple stalls and showers in the room. No privacy. Breakfast is make your own toast with peanut butter and Nutella, and is supposed to be 8-10am but it really 9-10am. It's not the cleanest place either, and the staff were quite cliquey. The events are only planned a day before, so unless you have an open schedule, the trips will not benefit you. I ended up leaving to a hotel and was so much happier.

Great staff and location! Super clean and very friendly inviting atmosphere. We love it here. ???? Super excited for the hike tomorrow if we don’t have too many drinks at the beautiful upstairs bar !

Pls avoid this Hostel. They don't turn on A/C until 11pm, while it's so hot and humid here. When requesting the front desk for A/C the lady in the night shift is rude and says she is busy. They hire volunteers who don't care for the paying customers. No Privacy curtains, no bed side charging ports, no cold water. Save your money and go to Ten to Ten PV, much better quality and service at lower price.

Great friendly and social atmosphere with day trips each day. The staff were really approachable and helped me get a taxi while running late for my bus. Highly recommend.
