It has a cool atmosphere and the owner is really nice. They have live music and 5 or 6 tvs to watch games. The food is ok

I've been coming to Puerto Vallarta for since 2010 and I have to say that this was, by far, the worst dining experience I've had here. The waiter appeared to be stoned, took our order and then after we waited a half an hour for food, we were told that they were out of the ribs (which three in our party of 6 had ordered). Then we waited more, and they brought out 3 of our dinners, and then after another half an hour, (the first three had finished their dinners by this time) they brought out the other three. The fish and chips were the worst fish and chips I ever had...it tasted like everything had been fried in old oil and the fries were soggy and limp. The waiter apologized and said they were "busy" and backed up, but it didn't look crowded to me, there was lots of open tables. Our group of 6 couldn't wait to get out of there. Oh, and I almost forgot...when we got the bill, they charged us for 9 entrees (they forgot to remove the 3 dinners that they were out of and we never got). Be sure to check your bill.

Went yesterday for music. Arrived at 1:30 for 3:00 show. Told all tables up top reserved so we’re put in patio. Shortly after a couple arrived and sat inside, no res. Asked again about sitting up there..all tables reserved the lady said..Then another couple arrived and sat inside, so went and asked if they had reserved. They said no, was their first time there. So finished our drinks and left, didn’t care for atmosphere or attitude. Stopped at Cafe Roma on way home and had fabulous time, and discovered new fav. band to follow for next couple months. Totally different atmosphere there

Went to Blakes yesterday with friends to listen to music drinks and some food. Music was great, waiters were great but disappointed in the food prices. Paid 500 pesos ( $32 Cad) for an mixed appy plater for 2-4 people. Got 6 wings, 6 onion rings, 6 calamari rings, 3 cheese sticks 3 chicken strips and a small bowl of poutine, 3 fish strips maybe i missed something. To me seemed extremely light on food for the price. It was tasty so no complaints for that. Maybe expecting too much but felt like very overpriced compared tonother places i have been .

Lovely place, we found this gem as its luckily few minutes from our hotel, despite being all inclusive we have ate and drank here several times on our holiday. Staff are really lovely and food is good, they often have bands which provides excellent entertainment. It can be busy but staff work very hard to make sure you are served and quick as possible, really recommend this bar.

horrible prime rib, overcooked. l ordered medium rare and got medium well. The meat was not marbled, no au jus, no horseradish sauce, no Yorkshire pudding
