Come learn about sea turtles!! Kids loved it!! For the 35 Mexican peso(u003e$2 USD) entry fee, it is a neat escape from the gift shop scene. Make a donation to their conservation program while you are there. They hope to expand and add more animals soon.

If you are looking for a commercialized aquariam, where you see dolphins do tricks and big elaberate displays, this is NOT the place for you. This is a small building where people with limited means are trying to help some sea turtles and educate others. They have maybe a half dozen turtles and some fish and crabs in a tank. They work on donations only, there is no fee. These people are amazing and do care, but they are underfunded and need help!

This place is really cool and worth going to. The rescued turtles are definitely the highlight of the aquarium but there are other neat things to see that are local to the area as well. If you get a chance, be sure to talk with the owner about what they do and where all the turtles came from. Consider leaving a larger donation to help support their mission.

Also, in response to the small tank size, we just went to the Georgia Sea Turtle Center and the tanks they use at this facility are the exact same.

This is a small place that looks like a work in progress. It's worth the stop if you are looking for something to do and want to see several marine turtles. I would've liked to have someone talk us through what they have there and future expansion plans, but apparently the only guy in there either didn't speak Spanish or wasn't much interested in dealing with our group.

They have always done a wonderful job of giving you an up close (and hands on) experience of some of the marine life you will find in the Sea of Cortez. Definately donate if you can. They have been they're many years.

It's not well funded and quite small, but bless their hearts they do try. They have some adorable turtles and some nice fish.

Loved it, its small and not very equipped, but hopefully it will improve... Go, they won't charge you, but consider donating....
