Recommended for special occasions. Delicious! Fresh ingredients, flavorful.
I recently had lunch at Villa Rica, next to the Hilton. We were in a mood for seafood and it was a special occasion. A close friend who is a local recommended this place. Make no mistake, Villa Rica may seem a bit pricy but you get premium quality seafood. It’s a good quality-price ratio. We got a few free starters including a taste of their delicious and rich soup. Just with a tiny spicy touch. Try the Mexican seafood dip (a mix of mayonnaise with chipotle pepper) with totopos (you will know them as nachos).
For starters we had a Mexican and a Peruvian ceviches, and we were almost full! Portions are good and the freshness of the food, from fish to lemon and coriander is unmatched. Everything tastes fresh. They also have non-seafood options including very decent pastas and a selection of Mexican dishes.
Good for kids too!
