Great value-for-money. Spotlessly clean. Very friendly family eager for everyone to have a nice stay. They call themselves a "hostel," but it is a house with private rooms, so not just a place for young people to stay. Good for all ages. Nice location just a few blocks from the Zocalo, so you have a mix of businesses and restaurants. Very safe. Quiet for sleeping.

The location is great - all main attractions are in the walk distance. The apartment is clean and new, kitchen is well equipped, you can feel like at your family home. My family and I spent there almost a week. Moreover it’s a great place for remote work too, thanks to 30mbps internet. Last but not least, Daniel the host is super helpful, responsive and willing to provide all necessary information, hidden gems and much more.

Daniel and his family were very kind and welcoming - super easy checkout process and Daniel gave excellent recommendations. The space was very clean and you could tell a lot of love was put into this place. I really enjoyed the coffee and the tea! There's also an opportunity to do laundry which I really appreciated. My only tip to you is to potentially estimate an earlier check-in time. I was worried about keeping them waiting but I think it will help prepare the Dear to assume you're coming around 15 minutes earlier than you are.

A wonderful welcome by wonderful hosts in a wonderful city in a wonderful grand hostel. A family of four enjoyed their stay very much.

I am a returning customer to The Dear Hostel. I was there in September for 5 days. The service, locations and hospitality was outstanding. I returned to The Dear Hostel for another pleasure trip in early February and the experience I had was the same. The staff was very helpful, They are on top of all our needs. The cleanliness of the room was outstanding the amenities ( chocolates) were very good. the smell of the fresh coffee in the morning was very pleasant. The location is only 5 blocks away from downtown very convenient. Overall, I will recommend this hostel if you are planning to visit the city for pleasure or business. Short or long term stay.

We absolutely loved staying here!!! I've stayed in so many hostels and this place comes out on top. It was super clean, excellent location with access to everything. Awesome owners who were accommodating and friendly with great recommendations for where to go, what to eat and what cultural experiences to take in. Incredible value for money, we will stay here time and time again. A wonderful experience to match a beautiful city!

Stayed here for a week and a half, it was a superb location and right in the centre of town. Had many great food places to eat and many tourist attractions within walking distance. Rooms were spacious and cleaned to a very high standard. Staff were very helpful and made us feel very welcome and provided recommendations with things to do about town.
