Excellent museum which combines a great location with impressive exhibition pieces. Walking through the old covent helped understanding how the nuns lived including the extremely well renovated kitchen. The tiles were splendid. Could have spent the entire day there.

Aunque no había guias (al parecer ya sólo se puede acceder a este museo acompañado de uno), la gente de seguridad hizo su mejor esfuerzo para explicarnos el recorrido. Como sea esta no es su función, como sea, lo agradezco. Por otro lado, tristemente las pantallas (que sólo había 3) estaban apagadas; en el área de los trajes de fiestas populares sólo uno tuene ficha técnica y no hay mayor información sobre las fiestas a las que pertenecen y para terminar sólo se mencionan cuatro. Si bien se entiende que es difícil dar cabida a tidas las fuestas populares que involucran bailes y máscaras creo que fácilmente podrían montar una pequeña exposición fotográfica para qur no pasen tan desapercibidas.
Algo similar sucede con las máscaras, tristísimo que nunguna tiene ficha técnica, no se sabe a qué festividad pertenecen, ni sus materiales de elaboración y mucho menos la región de pertenencia o procedencia. Hay un buen número de máscaras de tigre, presumiblente de la danza de tecuanes de la región de Acatlán pero su manufactura parece más bien guerrerense.
Asi también sucede con el área de trajes típicos del Estado de Puebla y con los nacionales, que si no mal recuerdo son cinco. ¿Cuál es el propósito de tenerlos ahí?
Pienso que este museo en particular puede agregsr muchísimo valor a la Infraestructura turística de la ciudad y claro hacerlo funciinar como um escaparate de las tradiciones y costumbres populares que también son turísticas. En este mismo orden de ideas, dada la inmensa cantidad de información sobre cada fiesta, se ouede generar un repositorio digital que uncluso pueda ser parcialmente accedido durante la visita, de modo que agregue valor.
Finalmente, es un lugar que vale la pena per se pues alberga el ejemplo más hermiso de una cocina completamente forrada de talavera. Con todo, es un lugar que vale la pena visitar.
