The place is sepectacular not only because of the incredible facade it has making reference to a Great Sweet originally from spain wich is El Dulce De Alfeñique mede with sugar paste egg white and almonds. The construction belongs to the las third of the 18th century and since 1790 it has been or carries the great name of La Casa De Alfeñique.
My experience in this museum was a lot of fun because at the beginning i didnt know where to start since the museum is very large, then i started the tour I could learn many things about the structor of the house and I could see how the old Puebla.

One of the few unique museums in DT Puebla, different expositions, beautiful portraits!

Originally, the museum was the home of some wealthy family. Today it's a museum with displays on regional history and art. Unfortunately, the displays have no English explanations, so if you're not fluent in Spanish, you won't get much out of your visit. It's too bad about this because Puebla is such an amazing city with such a rich history.

Architecturally, though, the museum is stunningly beautiful. So even if you don't enter, check out its exterior.

If you're a student or teacher, you get half price (from 40 pesos to 20 pesos).

Even though the signs are only in Spanish, it's still really worth a visit for the architecture and the exhibition on the top floor where the living quarters have been restored. Free on Sundays.

Beautiful building, there are some ancient rooms in the museum, you can see how prehistoric people lived without WiFi or hot water.
