Discovered by us via multiple positive references here and there on the web. Puebla is a town that I am familiar with. But it had been a few years since I was there. Two chef buddies of mine were going and what started out as a kind of 'you should go here and go there' became a 'heck, Jay, why don't you join us?' And I realized that I could. We had an amazing time. I re-visited old places that I loved. And we found new ones. The Casita Poblana was a treasure. Spectacular food, from the mole that they are known for, to the other dishes. Not a dud in the entire bunch. Please see my photos to get an idea of just how wonderful the food is here. It is south of the central plaza. An easy walk and an even easier local bus as it it directly on the route.
