The location is okay (It's behind a Dominos Pizza and very close to a few restaurants u0026 pharmacies/groceries, so you can eat or get necessities even after midnight) and the price is really good. However, like most hotels in Mexico below $100/night, the beds are really hard. The sheets are also thin and they don't really give you an extra towel even if you ask for it, so if you have two occupants, one will get a regular towel and the other will have to use a small towel, both of which are rough. There is no AC, but it is cold during the rainy season, and during hot days they might provide you with an electric fan but try to get the ground floor units as it would be cooler. The front desk people are nice but doesn't understand nor speak English, so foreigners better be prepared to use their Google Translate. There is also no key and the door autolocks, so you have to notify the front desk every time you come back, but they come out as soon as they see you. Most everything is good, okay and expected for that price range, and it's a really great deal (400 MXN) for the room with a king bed. The room is large, with a sitting area (or a place to put down your suitcases), long side tables, another long table and seat in front of a big mirror, a cabinet, a safe, a separate table u0026 a chair for eating or using your laptop. The bathroom is also larger compared to the renovated colonial buildings, but the showerhead is fixed and frustrating because the water is too spread out and most of the water is wasted/useless. The biggest problem with this hotel is the toilet bowl. It is a common problem in Mexico that toilet bowls are mostly small and the water pressure is also low, so you need to make sure not to flash the wipes everywhere (except maybe McDonalds u0026 the like where they have big bowls with strong flush). However, in this hotel it is so bad and the toilet hole is too small that even the toilet paper used after peeing wouldn't flush right away. You have to continuously hold/press the flush to keep the water flowing, do it again after the bowl has filled up, and maybe even need a plunger (we had to ask for it and we kept it) after that. When my small wife did the #2, it was worse. I'm a big man, so I wasn't able to go for days in fear that it would completely clog the toilet. It wasn't until we happily found out the good old American industrial sized toilets in McDonalds that I got some relief, as all the other restaurants we went to also had smaller toilets and I was afraid/embarassed of clogging them. The bigger fancier hotels in the area had better toilets, but not all of them, so if you are visiting and have these issues, ask about the toilets first or don't go for cheaper hotels (or plan to go to bigger chain restaurants for relief).

(Translated by Google) Clean rooms, excellent service, a good place to rest if you are going to work in the area, very safe. The only detail is that the towels, although clean, are very small and worn.

Las habitaciones limpias, la atención excelente un buen lugar para descansar si vas a trabajar por la zona, muy seguro. El único detalle es que las toallas, aunque limpias, son muy pequeñas y desgastadas.
