Definitely have to say location and cleanliness are AWESOME! I stay here often and that says a lot since there are many comparable properties in the area and I’ve stayed in many. But this is my go-to. Staff is very accommodating for late checkout, room service etc. I do recommend the back rooms since it’s a bit quieter. Restaurant is nice and rooftop bar is great. I use the gym as well and it does the job perfectly. I would recommend this place, for sure.

Hotel Isabel is located in a perfect spot in relation to all the action and hustle and bustle of Puebla’s historic center. You have great nightly rates, nice showers and your housekeepers do a hell of a good job. The only thing you need to get 5 stars is to overhaul and upgrade your wifi. Overall, thanks for the great, comfortable stay.

Good location in Puebla's historical center, close to many restaurants, cafes and the zocalo. Tasteful room...comfy bed, great, hot shower. Disappointing: room (with double bed) was really small, and the only "view" was out the window in the door of the room, looking out to the corridor and a brick wall. Booking.com had listed the room as having a city or garden/inner courtyard view...MOST misleading and deceptive!!! Glad I only booked the one night.

I arrived and when trying to check in, made me wait a long while. Then they told me they had actually booked the entire hotel and they were going to move me to a worse hotel elsewhere for the same price. After about an hour of trying to figure out what was going on (as they were confusing and not in a hurry to keep me informed), I decided not to take their worse offer. They then accused me of making a reservation for the wrong hotel (the didn't say this about me initially... plus I had the confirmation details to deny them). We asked them to write me a letter detailing what happened. They agreed, but then the woman who agreed then decided to go home "early". They then told me she would send me the letter at 9am the following morning. It has been two days and I have not received anything.

If you are looking for a great boutique hotel, close to the Zocolo, with amazing service, this is it. What an amazing value. The roof top bar has specials and an amazing view.

I had a reservation for multiple days, 4 days and 5 nights on the property to be exact. Unfortunately due to circumstances out of my control i arrived late for check in and they cancelled my reservation. Upon arrival i tried to sort it out with the receptionist seeing if there could be anything they could possibly do, i was received with rudeness and unnecessary attitude while i was trying to explain the situation and the final result was that they couldn`t do anything about it all while they continued to give me the same negative attitude. Management blamed it on the staff saying many were new and didn`t know how to resolve the issue and didn`t really know what they were doing. Although i understand this there was no reason or excuse to be rude about it when i wasn`t giving them negative energy or being disrespectful. If i could i would rate with no stars.

Nice little boutique hotel but I left early due to no air conditioning and wifi didn't work in my room. Had to connect to the restaurant wifi so it was very inconvenient. Spent a lot on data. The girls cleaning the rooms were great. Spotless.
