Delicious food, perfectly cooked, great presentation. Our server, Lexi (Alexei) was super, fun sense of humor, really sweet. Highly recommend. Open air dining. Eclectic menu items. BYOB your own wine.

Serendipity is a delicious little restaurant off the tourist trail in Playa Del Carmen. It has a relaxed cafe vibe to it with indoor and shaded outdoor dinning areas. Its a great place to visit alone or with friends and family.
Its only about a $2 cab ride from the tourist zone. The front patio is elevated with a great shade cover to keep the sun off you. This opens up into the restaurant where you can smell the chefs next masterpiece being made. Sunday service is a bit slow but the bilingual waitresses make the wait worth it. Coffeeoholics like me don't have to worry, the barista is on the ball and gets those yummy cappuccinos out right away. The meals are prepared fresh with locally grown non GMO ingredients and presented very elegantly when brought out. It shows the chef takes pride in what he does. I usually come here for brunch and have found everything so far on the menu to delicious and flavorful.

It’s a pretty good place, they sell good products and place is super nice, customers have options to choose seating

Although they were only taking cash on Saturday, I don’t know why that shouldn’t be allowed.

Amazing food! Plus they serve breakfast until noon. Try the Huevocate (picture added) it is too die for! Friendly bilingual staff and good service

Yummy yummy!! Such a cute cafe! Wonderful service and the food was delicious! Wanted to come back but they're closed on Wednesday ????

Food was great. Cute atmosphere. Cash only.

Only real downside is they allowed a horribly off key street singer to very loudly annoy their customers. You expect that on 5th Ave but this far out you certainly don't. I appreciate people trying to make money but the guy was so loud and so bad. The staff really should have asked him to move along.

Stoped here randomly on the way from cancun to tulum, and what a nice surprise, food was perfect, good quality, cheap, waitress didn't speak much English but was trying his best, and with him using translate it was no problem at all
