First vegan restaurant with awesome and very tasty hamburgers!!!! Totally recommend for all!

Burgers were very good. Unfortunately the service and some of the other dishes were very poor. Our burgers arrived long before drinks and even longer before our guacamole. I had to ask several times for the guacamole before it arrived and when it eventually did it was too salty to eat. The "Berry good" smoothie was nice but the "cacoa mix" was like dishwater.

The staff was very nice, Spanish only, but we got by and I was delighted to enjoy my first vegan meal in Oaxaca. We had tacos and smoothies, neither was exceptional but both were well made. There is a small grocery section in this natural food store, where I bought some soy milk and you can also purchase other vegan fare, such as fake meat.

Very nice vegetarian food with plenty of vegan options. Tasty burgers. They also make almost all of their own produce (veggie meats, vegan cheeses etc). Awesome fresh juices and other drinks. Very affordable prices.

Trigo Verde is a cute little restaurant in the central area of Oaxaca with delicious vegan and vegetarian options and healthy versions of traditional Mexican food. They also sell a nice selection of natural health and beauty products, vitamins and foods too.

I visited this small eatery twice and ordered a fresh green juice along with the vegan tacos al pastor both times (made with soy meat) and they were so tasty. The staff were sweet and friendly. I did find it a bit odd that you can’t order smoothies or fresh juices after 12 pm, according the menu, but just make sure you go before then if you want one of these to drink.

I believe they also offer a menu of the day (menu del dia) for a good price.

I'd last eaten here over a year ago. The food tasted alright, but today it tastes very good. Maybe they listened to my feedback.... i see different staff and cooks now. However they made it happen, it makes this place worthwhile to visit. The wait staff seems noticeably more attentive since I was last here.

While the food at Trigo Verde is just fine (maybe a little overpriced as far as local prices are concerned), I have to say I will never go back. They have very few options as far as groceries (it's more like supplements and beauty products). Not only that, but the cashier tried to short change me by almost 200 pesos. I suppose if you decide to go there, make sure you've got exact change!
