I happened to walk by when I was looking for dinner. The reviews looked good so I decided to go in. Live music by a guitarist/singer, the smell of a 'smoker' (the cooking device). Not crowded at 4pm, three other occupied tables. I asked the server for recommendations since I had never seen or eaten a tlayuda. She recommended the costillo as an example of regional food. I said OK. See photo. The meat on top is cooked pork rib. Inside the tortilla is mashed black beans, cheese, and something creamy. It was good...not my favorite flavor, but good. A worthwhile culinary and cultural experience.
