The pool was too dirty to use - all green and stuff floating around. Completely different to what a shown in the hotel s official pictures.
The apartment was functional, but very dark. Even in the midst of the day all lights had to be on.
Because of a shared courtyard, any sound from the adjacent apartments resonated loud enough to wake one up, eg shower, conversations, dragging suitcases…

On the good side…
Cleaning staff was great, both friendly as well as thorough and efficient.
Location to explore town by foot is fantastic. Close to markets, cathedrals, restaurants and cafes.

This hotel is amazing value. Very clean, comfortable beds; the suites are close (walking distance) to St. Domingo cathedral and many places to eat etc. The front desk staff are top notch. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom is updated. This hotel reminds me of my travels through Spain. It's impressive quality and location for the price! As it is downtown, there was a little noise, but the building and especially the bedroom was far quieter than we thought it would be. This place is a must if you are a frugal traveler looking for quality.

We had an absolutely wonderful time here. The location is close to the center and walking distance to museums, zocalo and city attractions. Staff was extremely helpful, friendly and worked to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Price was reasonable and facilities were far better than a 2-star hotel.

Good internet and location. Kitchen is present. Had case with additional tax. We saw one price on Booking.com with included all tax, but reception added to this price double additional tax. We spent some time to prove price from Booking.com.

Fantastic suite--bedroom with two double beds and tv, living room, equipped kitchen and bathroom for roughly $50 a night at the current exchange rate (4/21/18). Clean and very friendly and helpful. All of the clerk's know at least some English, so our Duolingo training went a long way! Although we didn't use it, a small outdoor swimming pool and hot tub kept the children of our fellow guests happy and tired.

Highly recommended accommodation for your stay in Oaxaca. Rustic, a bit basic perhaps, but pretty much anything you need, especially if you travel with kids: kitchen, pool, etc.
