Just stayed at La Casona de Tita for the second time in two years and the experience was just as good as the first time. Cozy, spotlessly clean and delicious breakfasts; the highlight, however, is the staff. Everyone is friendly, responsive, helpful and with an amazing work ethic. They bend over backwards to make your stay as great as it can possibly be. Some of the best service you will ever find in a hotel.

We loved this small, boutique hotel. Our room was spacious, the hotel staff were incredibly helpful and responsive, and the included breakfast on the beautiful enclosed patio was a treat every morning. Even my demanding world traveler brother-in-law was impressed!

Beautiful boutique hotel, super clean, great breakfast, spacious rooms and gorgeous inside. The most important thing: the owners are all day around to be sure everything is perfect and they are just lovely people. I will come back for sure!

My daughter and I spent a blissful 5 days here this past May. Recommended by a friend who lives in Oaxaca as the best place to stay, the hotel lived up to its star billing. The hotel itself, small and intimate and lovely, is built around a beautiful courtyard which we savored every morning at breakfast. Breakfasts are so delicious that many non-guests come just to be able to choose from an expansive menu full of Oaxacan specialities. The impeccable service at breakfast wes reflected in all the hotel does for its guests. Our flight did not get in until late and yet we were greeted with enthusiasm close to midnight and shown to our room. The manager found us immediately at breakfast the next morning, full of suggestions and maps to help us plan our stay. The hotel is perfectly located; we could walk to much of what we wanted to see. Yet it is on a quiet side street, where the busy nightlife of Oaxaca is not in earshot. We both look forward to returning, and in the meantime, would recommend this gem to any and all who want to visit Oaxaca.

A beautiful peaceful place to spend the night and it's four blocks away from Santo Domingo and six from the zocalo(Oaxaca's main square) Restaurants nearby and also there is el llano park where you can do some running
