It's a beautiful and clean place to stay, in a quiet neighborhood, and the service at the reception desk was friendly. It isn't far from downtown.
Would be great to have a coffee service or cafeteria because you have to walk out and the streets are dark at night.

As soon as I booked this place, I couldn't wait to check in. The front desk employee was helpful, polite and respectful. I didn't have exact change to pay him at the moment but he said not to worry about it. I stayed here for 2 nights, then check out and traveled elsewhere. I told the staff if I came back it would be to stay here at Hotel La Cascada Oaxaca

Fabulous little family run hotel just north of the city center (walkable for able bodied adults). It is basic but it is clean, safe and the views, well incredible. I’ve stayed here twice and will stay here again.

Such a clean comfortable place to stay. The young couple that own it were so helpful to me especially when I was sick.
Also called the taxi for me many times since I don't speak Spanish.
