Such a wonderful hotel. Lovely interior design and comfortable attractive rooms. Great breakfast in the morning with excellent coffee. Rooms are quiet and the inner courtyard is filled with beautiful trees which keeps the hotel cool and fresh. One the of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The location is also exceptional, tucked right into the centre of Oaxaca. The ladies at the reception and the restaurant are lovely and helpful. Will definitely stay here if I’m ever in Oaxaca again.

Don’t hesitate staying here!!

Location: perfect, a short walk to the busy center (10 min maximum). In a very safe and more calm neighborhood.
Breakfast: amazing, everyday something new, 2 courses! Served with love.
Rooms: well equipped, spacious and with nice details.
Staff: the most friendly, helpful staff we’ve had this trip, very personal, much attention. We felt so welcome, they are working very hard to make your stay as nice as possible. We loved to relax at the rooftop terrace of the hotel, with a nice cold drink from the honesty bar ????

Most important: this hotel has a very good community purpose, to improve the education for youth in Oaxaca. They are happy to tell you more about this :)

Loved staying here! The place is beautifully designed and super comfortable. Affordable, clean nice rooms and super friendly/helpful staff. Loved the free breakfast every day. The hotel is a little of a walk from the city center (3-4 blocks) but it was nice being a little outside as it was quieter. Love that the profits go towards education as well! Would love to stay here again :)

Hotel con Corazón is a sweet, affordable, and beautifully designed place that I highly recommend. Complimentary breakfast was fresh and delicious. Each person we encountered who worked there was extremely helpful and gracious. Plus, the money goes for wonderful community education projects. Truly a perfect place to stay. It’s a bit of a walk to get to city center, but it’s definitely walkable and we liked how quiet our area was.

Hotel con Corazón is an amazing hotel ! We loved the layout, the open-air atmosphere and the rooftop deck to relax on. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and the staff was so helpful and attentive. Felt great to know our money was also going towards helping the local community. Would 100% recommend!

How do I start with this review ? I normally never write reviews.. but since I booked this property and I learned what they were all about (Support u0026 Finance the education of some in need with their profits) I was like absolutely count on me !
I got there with no expectations ... just knowing I was contributing to a great cause !
Surprise .. Surprise.... The room was so amazing u0026 comfortable ... it reminded me of how important little things are ( Water and the Environment ) ... The breakfast which was included was a gourmet breakfast every morning served in an impeccable way ( Presentation) The service from the front desk / clerk / servers / cooks was absolutely INCREDIBLE ! The kind of service you expect to receive when you stay in the most expensive hotels in the world ! The hotel staff work as a team the whole time and it was very inspiring ! The hotel was walking distance to everything you need to see in Oaxaca Downtown Area ! I would stay in this property again and again, specially knowing what this property uses part of their profits.. to finance the education of many ambitious students who need some tools and resources to fully develop !

A fantastic option for the traveller seeking to put their tourist $ to support local causes. A short walk from the main centre and markets, past local shops and eateries worth exploring - it felt like we were staying in a locals neighbourhood! We always felt very safe walking the streets (there is even a police station around the corner).

Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared each day and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming - as a gay couple we always felt very welcomed, which is not always the case when travelling. We upgraded to the patio room which included a small private courtyard including a hammock, which provided a welcome opportunity to rest tired feet after full days exploring all the delights of Oaxaca.

I rate 4 stars as we found our room (#4) a bit on the noisy side, with traffic noise late into the evening and early morning. I’m a light sleeper so I didn’t sleep as well as I’d hoped, but it may not bother others who are accustomed to the sounds of a city. Given the premium room I wonder if there could be greater sound proofing of the windows given the proximity to the road.

That said, I would definitely stay here again and look forward to returning!
