Surprisingly quiet for being right in the center of town. Lovely spot set around two courtyards with a pool in the second and thought provoking art on the walls all over.

Breakfast available downstairs. Rooms are fine - not fancy bathrooms or anything but bed was comfortable, clean and the hotel courtyards are gorgeous. We liked it!

Super staff. They were all very friendly and helpful and the one gentleman who spoke perfect English was able to help us the few times we had difficulty. I’m sorry I didn’t catch his name. The courtyard and pool are romantic and beautiful. The manager was also quite helpful.

The rooms are rustic in a very positive and homey way. We had drinks and breakfast in the courtyard and the food was delicious. The staff there was also exceptionally warm and friendly.

If I didn’t have to go home for that whole “working for a living” thing, I would spend weeks there. There is so much to see, do, and especially eat and drink in Oaxaca.

I would absolutely return and would recommend it to friends and family. Thanks Casantica!!!

Ok rooms, ok service, great location. You will be paying premium price for the hotel downtown location (a couple of blocks from Alameda/Zócalo), but service is not at par at all. One thing that struck me is that they have coffee maker in the room, but actual coffee and filter must be procured by the guest! They also advertise they have a heated pool, we had a summer stay and the pool was super cold and they wouldn't turn on the water heater. Anyways not the greatest experience in this hotel. I'll choose a different one when i return to Oaxaca.

This hotel has some pretty amazing looks. With two lovely courtyards, the place looks like an old palace with a nice small pool and some several levels of terraces which makes it pretty cool to walk around.
Just please be aware about the noise of the pipes in this place. When I firstly booked it and saw the reviews about the noisy pipes i thought to myself "surely it can't be that bad".... well IT ACTUALLY IS REALLY BAD!! The pipes in here may be really old cause as soon as someone in the room next door or above is using their running water, forget about any sleep, these pipes screech with loud noises at any time of the day and be assured you won't be able to sleep through it.
Aside from that, the staff of the hotel are nice enough and fairly helpful at any time of the day.

Nice quaint small hotel, conveniently located in the heart of the city. Very quiet with excellent service. It has a beautiful courtyard to relax or have a meal. Very good value for your money. Try a good piece of pastry from the "panaderia" located at the corner.

I had great hope for this beautiful hotel. The staff are friendly and the pool is warm. However the list of cons far exceeds the pros. They charge an exorbitant pet fee - $500 MXN per night. For that fee you get nothing. No water bowl, no pet bed, nothing. The building is excessively noisy and we could hear every door opening and closing throughout the hotel all night long. There is no parking on site. They valet park your car six blocks away so try not to forget anything. There’s nothing nearby for pets to enjoy. There isn’t even a spot of dirt for doing business in the morning. The restaurant was mediocre with overcooked steak and overpriced cocktails. Sorry I cannot recommend this hotel.

Very pleasant guest rooms circle a comfortable indoor courtyard. The hotel is well within walking dustance in all directions. A full Breakfast was part of our accommodation. A full menu was provided. Both the food and the service were extremely friendly and satisfactory. An indoor swimming pool was inviting but we were too busy to use it.
