On google maps the hotel shows as pet friendly. I called to ask about it and they told me that only a section of the restaurant allows pets. So the hotel is not pet friendly, only a section of the restaurant is.

This is the worst hotel experience I've had in decades. The hotel has ongoing construction (something we were not told in advance) and the noise level in the room is so loud I should be wearing protective ear plugs. Debris is falling from the ceiling (see photo) during the day because of the vibrations of the construction. Do not stay here.

Great location, the hotel itself is nice, the shower pressure is good, the staff is friendly upon check in.
The beds are not very soft or forgiving
The prices are quite high for what it is
The privacy is not guaranteed, there are children running around and playing and crying and it makes it hard to rest, and there is no lobby only a restaurant area so you can hear everyone talking loudly in front of your room
As well as the music from the restaurant you can hear it in your room
It makes it hard to relax
There is no refrigerator
I could feel and hear the vibration of the occupant’s phone in the room beside me, including their morning alarm
Because the hotel is open concept and open to the sky you can hear airplanes and fireworks
The front doors close at night and you must wait for an attendant to unlock it for you.
There is construction or some sort of hammering and banging
The blankets do not fit the size of the bed
I asked to check out a day early because I was unhappy with my stay and was ignored

The hotel restaurant is worth paying a visit. Their menu is exquisite and well priced. There are vegetarian options too and you get Oaxaca’s finest cuisine: different types of mole, chicken, tasajo (a very thin beef), creamy cilantro and nutty sauces and more.
The atmosphere is quiet and you’re surrounded by green walls.

Clean and great location. Sadly our neighbors were loud and kept their window open but the receptionist was super helpful.
