The perfect location (downtown by Zocalo) with the ideal setting hoyel, small and offers a relaxing outdoor pool and lounging area with a bar. The bartender, Jose, makes great drinks and offers great tourist recommendations. Our hotel room was spacious and comfy. There is a restaurant and their food and service is wonderful.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. These people are scammers. We booked two rooms and when we arrived, they sent us to their sister hotel which is of HORRIBLE quality!!! Not nice at all like the pictures on their website. We stayed there for one night and decided to leave since this sister hotel is soooo uncomfortable and unbearable. They charged us for the ENTIRE WEEK!!!! They never informed us of their booking policy and refused to refund us the money. We are in Oaxaca city for a doctor's appointment because of an illness in the family. These people not only scammed us, they have caused us so much stress and grief in additional to our medical issues. They have NO compassion and do not care about their customers at all. We feel completely cheated and stripped of our consumer's right. Do yourself a favor. DO NOT GO ANWHERE NEAR THIS HOTEL.

Worse hotel I ever stayed at!
Extremely loud!
Hotel decided it was a good idea to put movies on til midnight, very very loud! Paper thin walls as well! You can head every conversation the guest are having, most who are Spanish speaking and have no consideration of others!
First time in Oaxaca and yes, this hotel is close to some attractions but not to the ones you want to be close too!
The botanical gardens and beautiful Santo Domingo iglecia as well as the most charming colorful area in Oaxaca is in quiet jalatlaco. Stay there! Everything you want to be walking distance to is there too!

This hotel has it all: great location, wonderful staff, rooms are spotless with AC, restaurant has wide selection from traditional Tamales to omelettes. Beautiful outdoor/pool area.

We had a great stay! Staff was friendly and helpful, exchanging our money, offering help with tours and dinner reservations, and even arranging our breakfast to be delivered on a morning we were heading out early. (The breakfasts were great, btw!) The room and common areas were clean. Great location about a block from the zocalo, a few blocks from 20 de Noviembre, and a 8-10 minute walk to the Church of Santo Domingo de Guzman. We had to delay our check in by a day on account of flight cancellations and despite giving short notice of our change of plans, the hotel was nice enough to not charge us for the night we were unable to stay.

The hotel had great staff that provided good service however CHEMA was the stand out star of our stay. He was going above and beyond his duties, always being there for us while juggling multiple tasks to perfection. Whatever we needed, he was always happy to do it. We can’t thank him enough for being so accommodating and welcoming. Thank you Chema!

Good location. Very attentive staff. Clean. Quiet. Big rooms. Relaxing pool area with a bar.
No parking though.
