I just completed a 7 night stay and have sooo much to say. My room was in the back so i had zero street noise. The room was very large and clean. I usually shower before going to dinner and never had any issue with hot water. Since i was there for 7 nights i purchased a small fan. I like the white noise and the fan made it very comfortable. The location is perfect and price is equally great. They make pots of fresh coffee all day which is an added bonus. I also enjoyed the view from the rooftop terrace. I had daily interaction with many of the staff and every single time they were great. They would ask if i needed anything including a fresh bath towel. Im a motocycle traveler to the secure parking made this a perfect stay. This is an amazing hostal and i look forward to staying here when i return to Oaxaca. Thank you Nordes.

Can't beat this place if all you want is a basic clean room with wifi. It's central, the staff is helpful and the price is right.

Solid, unspectacular hostel with clean, large rooms, good security. No a/c or fans, no bedside lamp. It took 7 minutes for hot water to get shower-worthy. A bit noisy till 2am from nearby bar music. Parking garage down below has low clearance, could not accommodate our car with rooftop tent, but other secure parking facilities are nearby.

The worst place ever. You just have 10 min hot water per day and the people Who work in this place are so impolite and they dont speak english at all not even the owner. There is no air condition and the rooms are so small with a view to a wall. You cant sleep because its way to loud with the Musik around.
I would Not recomend this place to anyone.

I think is important you yo know that they may cancel your reservation half hour before you arrive, despite of the fact that you called to say that you are going to be late, and they agreed as in our case
