Nice and clean hostel. Tasty bakery on side. Friendly staff. Close to the town center. Safe area. Oh the toilet flush didn't work properly

The people here are super nice!
But I tried to go out on 6am and the door was locked and there was nobody around so I was locked inside.

You get for what you paying for, rooms are clean, the staff is pretty friendly

The family that run this hostel are lovely, Ivette was very kind and helpful to me when I got sick during my stay and they all made me feel comfortable, the group of volunteers are very friendly too. The hostel has everything you need and is in a good location, I came back about 3 times within the last couple months so would recommend! Thanks guys :)

I have seen many hostel, hotel and hostals in my life. But never one as dirty as this one. Just absolutely disgusting. Hostal Chocolate changed its location. It must be since then that the place falls apart. The bathroom was not cleaned during our whole stay of 3 days..!! And it was full house. And it already seemed to not be cleaned since many days before. Blocked toilets, hair, toothpaste, dirt, pee and much more everywhere.
Just avoid this place!

I'm so happy I found this place! It's super clean with comfy beds, hot water in big showers, a beautiful garden, wifi, a few tables if you're here for work and a rooftop with a great view! The shared kitchen is spacious and the hostel is only a short walk to the center and right across the street is a market with tons of fruits and veggies. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I feel very welcome and safe here and they are following Covid-19 cleaning/safety guidlines! I keep extending my stay because I don't want to leave haha! Super recomendable!!

Friendly staff. The hostal itself is very clean and well managed. The breakfast is decent (fruits, toast, a small omelet and a coffee or tea). Great atmosphere in the place. Also nice to have a big roof terrace to hang out on.
Also they have very kind, friendly and cute little dog that lights up the room when he enters it :).
