Beautiful spot within 20 minute walk from downtown Oaxaca which you get a great view of the city and the surroundings. Very worth the trip.

You can see pretty much all the city from there, and it's a great sunset spot

Wow, what a view! You can see the whole city. We got there right after sunset, when the city lit up.
Parking is weird, because you park off the busy road, just like one of those viewpoints when you're traveling. Then you walk down stairs to the restaurant.
Food was okay, nothing special, and the drinks were terrible. Service was fine, but they obviously didn't care that we didn't like the drinks. You only go for the view.

Such a view from up there even though I got there at night something you have to see at night????

3 stars for the view but i didn’t feel safe to climb up there walking from the city center. There was a lot of stray dogs that could be agressive and small streets with very few people or shops opened compared to the vibrant city center. I would recommend to ask a taxi to bring you up and down and at daylight.

This mirador is really just a side bet on the big auditorium which has equal or better views. The auditorium also has much better access via a pedestrian walkway from Miguel crespo Street West of the cathedral. Walking folks should definitely check this one out.
