Great budget hotel in a very good location. We were able to walk to all of the central attractions in Oaxaca within a few minutes. There are tons of parks and restaurants in the area. They had construction going on but they were clean, started and ended at very reasonable hours, and it never bothered us at all. We had AC in our room, a TV with many channels, and good wifi. Our bathroom was tiny but that is normal in this part of Mexico. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice cheap place to stay with 2 cool terraces to enjoy a nice view. You can keep your stuff in a fridge, water is provided. The rooms close to the street will be a bit noisy and have the light from the street.

There is a nice neighborhood close by, walking in the direction of the ADO bus station, check it out if you stay there.

+ Good location. 15 minutes walking distance away from Oaxaca Cathedral or 10 minutes away from Templo de Santo Domingo
+ Decent internet speed (WiFi)
+ Hot water shower
+ There was a water bottle filling station
* Staff was friendly but spoke no English
- It was noisy. The view from the window is on to a street so passing by cars or barking dogs might keep you up at night
- There is little room to do your business on the toilet. My knees were right against the wall.
- Late check-out was not an option unless you pay 400 MXN (21 USD).
- There are no hooks in the room

It may not look quite appealing from the outside. But the rooms are spacious and well decorated with folkloric items. Service could be improved though.
