Visited this restaurant after being referred by a local. Was glad I did. Delicious, fresh and authentic food. Their menu has a decent selection of quality entrees and appetizers. I ordered a variety of food, in case I didn't like one or the other. Ended up enjoying every bit. Clean, lively atmosphere. Friendly and committed staff. Highly recommend this restaurant!

The cabrito was very good. So was the chincharones de rib eye and the queso for an appetizer. Will definitely be going back next time I am in Monterrey. Very reasonable price as well. Highly Recommended.

Delicious meat cuts and tacos among a very wide variety of dish options to choose from.

We ordered the Arrachera steak, the tucita tacos(3) and the Rib Eye tacos(3) cooked to perfection. The salsas are amazing accompanied by pork chicharron and an ice cold beer.

The environment is family friendly but I suggest calling ahead to either reserve a table or check how long the waiting list is because this place is good! ????????????

We visited this restaurant after being recommended by several of our friends. Everything was delicious. We ordered the guacamole with pork belly, the panela asada and the frijoles con veneno. Everything was delicious. My daughter was craving french fries and they were also very good. They have a nice selection of tequilas. All the food was delicious and fresh, made to order. We all enjoyed our food. My wife ordered a cabrito riñonada, my daughter ordered a cabrito breast and I got the cabrito shoulder. The cabrito is the best we have ever had!! My other daughters got tortilla and fideo soups, they were delicious. When we visit Monterrey we would typically go to El Rey del Cabrito. San Carlos is far way more better in food quality, cleanliness , lively atmosphere, friendly staff. Highly recommend this restaurant!!

Food quality was good, not great. Service was very slow, it took too long to bring the dishes after we ordered (place was at 50% capacity), and we constantly had to ask to take away empty dishes.
