If you can, watch all the presentations and shows first before you go and view the museum exhibits... it helps a lot with the understanding and explanations of stuff. Tour guides were awesome ????

Don't miss this place if you are in Monterrey. Very well maintained and educational. Cool views from the top.

Very cool experience. The inside was not open because of covid, but the exterior is. If you pay for a ticket, you can get a ride up to the top of the facility in something that looks like a cage. Anyone of any age can enjoy that part. At the top you can explore the factory and see some of Monterrey from up high. I'd recommend going.

Fantastic experience!!
The museums in Monterrey are really struggling during the pandemic. Go help a fantastic institution while having the time of your life.
While the actual museum is still closed, you can't pass the experience of getting into the unique elevator and taking a look at this place from up top. It's just magnificent.
Pay only 70 pesos per person and take fantastic selfies. Make sure you read a little about this place before you go. And get a souvenir while your are there!

Concur with the ten star review- what an incredible renovation and transformation of an unused steel mill by turning it to very meaningful educational experience. The sky cart which was used to transport minerals was quite an unforgettable experience. One could see the giant furnace from top, below, sideway. Exhibitions are in very high quality and shows science in a very intuitive way.
The video was nothing short of extraordinary. My tour guide was patient and knowledgeable and he communicated in English very well. Worth coming to Monterrey just for the museum.

This was a cool place to see. Most of the descriptions are in Spanish with an abbreviated English version tacked on the end. You are accompanied all around with a guide who tells you all about the place and answers any questions you may have. You also have the opportunity to go up via the outside elevator to see it from one of the elevated platforms. Plenty of food/snack options. Very educational for both young and old. I would go again if I had the opportunity.
