Awesome place for a very local festive ambience. Aim to come for buffet where you can sample tons of local favourite dishes including fruit and desserts. There's also live entertainment to keep the spirits high. Place is packed on weekends and one may have to wait quite a while. System is to go to the counter in the lobby/entrance and get your name down. Then you will be called when it's your turn to get a table.

Los frijoles

During the weekend this establishment serves a buffet. The food was delicious, and if you can believe me, it can be so much better when it’s not buffet. If you do come on a weekend, come early or come with patience. After check in with the host, we waited about 32 minutes to be seated. The seating process was also confusing, a lady called about 6 parties together and did not say to follow her or anything. We walked rushing to find her and finally seated us in a table towards the back of the restaurant. Not the best location but a clean table. The server came to take our order, I requested for a club soda lemonade (Limonada Mineralizada) and my husband for a XX. We walked towards the front of the establishment where all the food was stationed. I will dock one star as there were a few items that I could not tell what they were, nothing had a reference or label. A few items were a given. On the side there is a station for enchiladas and flautas, with all fixings. On the opposite side you have a bar that included all the sweets the only thing was there were a lot of flies on all of the sweets. I omitted from trying. The service was good, just could not find our waiter when were trying to check out. Overall experience was a 4 but I know the experience is higher on a weekday.

Lots of cool cars. Lots of Instagram options here if you are into that kind of thing. My local friend says it's popular for that. Food was good and quick. Lots of options.

This place is in a small gated plaza called La Mexicana. It is beautiful in there with tons of parking and little pop up shops. The restaurant itself is gorgeous! It has so much decorations to look at, on weekends they have a beautiful breakfast buffet and then in the afternoon they start their regular menu. When we got their we did have to wait a bit but it did not take long, we got seated and they took our drink orders quick. They brought us delicious salsa and tostadas as a botana. The entrees did not take long to come out but oh my! The food was delicious and it had a while bunch of flavors. It was exquisite and very enjoyable. I am definitely will be coming back!

Enjoyed eating here, liked all the props the restaurant has. Really wanted to try the buffet but we had just missed it.

Welcome to a typical Mexican restaurant.
You can taste several and local food and drinks.
Prices are fair and quality is very good.
If you are in Monterrey, take your time to know this place.
There is a little museum where you will find cars, bottles, cans, handcrafted products...
Parking are is well dimensioned.
Take a lot of pictures and share with yours friends....

La mejor experiencia de Cumpleanos!!! Nice and clean servers professional and always on the lookout for what we needed. Wknd arrive as early as possible u0026 during the week anytime is good!!!
