This one has to be one of the more dismal hostels in whole of Mexico. I check in and the the caretaker couldn't be less bothered or considerate to explain what's what of the hostel. The dorms were mostly empty but I was given the top bunk because the lower bunk beds were not made. The sheets themselves weren't the cleanest, if I am honest.

The washrooms lacked toilet paper and cleanliness for the duration of my stay. I can only wonder what it would be like if the place were any fuller. Also, for 300 pesos a night, one would expect clean drinking water.

Yuri is the best!. She works hard to keep the guests happy and maintains a clean hostel. Her sparkling personality and beautiful smile make you feel at home.
I was originally going to stay here a week, but I injured my leg and stayed another week. Then I met a woman, and a third week lol.

But I was here a long time and enjoyed it. Full kitchen for cooking. And food and clubs are everywhere. Don't see anything? Walk a block, you will. Barrio Antigua is very nice and you are only blocks from a large shopping area.

Vegan restaurants are plentiful. I had no problems finding food for this vegan. Govinda is a vegan buffet as well as Hare Krishna restaurant. Vegarum is a vegan pizza place, pizza burger is a must! Everything just blocks away.

Wonderful hostel! Fantastic location, helpful and kind staff, clean and very safe. The staff is very kind and will help answer any questions you may have. The hostel is right in the middle of the vibrant "Barrio Antiguo" - lots of restaurants and bars that make the streets come alive on the weekends. Also conveniently located close to the Macroplaza, Paseo Santa Lucia, and many other locations in walking distance. Would definitely recommend staying at this Hostel - the next time we return to Monterrey we will definitely be staying here!

Clean bed and friendly staff. Really well located, within walking distance of many points of interest.
No communal areas and the showers could use an upgrade.

He is the first person I have practiced so much Spanish with! So easy to communicate with, and even danced with me in the car on our way! :) He's amazing!

Friendly staff, relaxed environment. Great location if you're into live music and good food. Inexpensive.

This has to be the worst experince in a hostel ever. The charge for a towel, charge for a lock, and the staff a useless. I would not recomend this place to anyone.
