You normally get what you pay for. But $25 USD is too much for this place. It was not the worst place ever but it was close. My biggest complaints are #1 There are no normal sleeping pillows, only pillow shams for decorating purposes. They dont suffice for normal pillows and they had a sour and musty odor. Clearly they are not laundered like you would an actual sleeping pillow. I had to put it inside of one of my tshirts and spray it with cologne to be be able to just tolerate it. It was hard, bulky and smelly. Very , very nasty. #2 There is NO bedspread. Only a very thin sheet. And I mean very thin. It made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep. #3 This is located in a very ugly and nasty, run down area. It was depressing. Breakfast is NOT included. It must be added to the room cost or paid separately. It was not very good. A very poor attempt. On the positive side, there is an Oxxo outside the front door. The air conditioning works nicely and when I took a shower I thought my skin was going to be removed from my body. It was like being sprayed by a fire truck. Extremely and excessively powerful. Hot water was not a problem. No bugs. Old thin carpet on the floor. No mini fridge. A dark and dank room. The view from the wi dow was a depressing concrete wall. Overall, it was an experience that I could not wait to change. I stayed only one night and that will certainly be my last night forever. I can still smell the disgusting odor of the pillow sham. Likely years of bacteria from people drueling, sneezing, coughing and emitting body oils and fluids. It ruined everything and canceled out anything that was good. I am sorry to say that I could NEVER recommend this place to anyone. In hindsight I would have and could have easily found a clean place with pillows and blankets on Airbnb for the same price or less. I dont enjoy giving such negative feedback but I will always tell it like it is. Avoid this place at all cost.
