This small local restaurant became our landmark during our stay in the Colonia del Valle district. We eat well and simply, with the rich Mexican cuisine, the prices are very affordable and the welcome is more than warm. Whether you have a small hunger or a big craving, you will find your happiness!

Probably the best tortas in Mexico City. Wonderful place to visit. Takeaway or eat in. I recommend the Cubana.
It can get busy but the wait is never too long.
Minor suggestion for the menu would be to list the ingredients for each torta, it would save a lot of time ordering.
All this aside, still an easy 5*'s.

The specialty of this place are tortas, they are pretty tasty.
They do offer drinks made out of fresh fruit and traditional mexican dishes.
The prices are fair, great experience overall.

Delicious tortas. If you can't get enough hot sandwiches like me than this is the spot. Open since 1958 and still going strong. The buns are dipped in a sauce and toasted on a grill giving them that crunch that all hot sandwiches deserve. I had the Chorizo beef and cheese sandwich with a side of consomme to get a kick of vegetables. Listen this will not disappoint you.

Great flavor, the prices are right for being an establishment with history. They can work on the service though, the waiters are somewhat distracted. But apart from that, come here and enjoy a neighborhood tradition.

Everything looked good smelled good. The waiter was nice. I got a torta de milanesa and the edges were cold ugh... my agua de fresa was good though. definitely not gonna order warm food again maybe just coffee next time.
